Sending Bytes... but users can't log on

ok i'm all set up preety much... im playing music, but i can't get people to access the site

i'm using my friend as a hoster since i have a firewall

his ip is 192.168.1.100

i'm sending bytes and i've got everything working but my friends can't hear the station

the adress i send them was http://myfriend'sIP:hisportnumber/listen.pls

Two problems:
192.168.1.100 is a LAN IP, no one outside his LAN will be able to connect to that IP. You will need to use his global IP.
FATAL ERROR change SrcIP back to ANY if you changed it, otherwise something is blocking port 8001.

and what do you mean by changing the srcIP back to any

Have your friend visit: https://www.casterclub.com/iphost.php to get his IP. If he is on a LAN then he will need to configure the gateway device (i.e. router) too.
SrcIP is a setting in sc_serv.ini (the configuration file for the DNAS).

are u running any other software that may use port 8000? Gamming software, any other servers besides shoutcast?

try a shoutcast forum search
