Everythings running but computer doesn't upstream
Hi there,
i'm trying to set up a livestream using Winamp 2.95 and Shoutcast under Windows 98SE. Maybe one of you could help me analysing and solving the problem i have. I do the following: - i start Winamp - Shoutcast DSP is then also shown on the screen - i hit play on Winamp - there is shown activity in the Shoutcast DSP level-meters - i start the Shoutcast DNAS - hit the "connect"-button in the Shoutcast DSP window - everything works fine. i get no error messages - in the Shoutcast DSP window the "sent xxxxxxx bytes"-information is running - but there's no upload from my computer (the two little computer monitors in the system tray are showing no activity) the Shoutcast DNAS logfile looks like this: <07/02/03@23:05:58> [source] connected from 127.0.0.1 <07/02/03@23:05:59> [source] icy-name:gheddo placard ; icy-genre:knirsel <07/02/03@23:05:59> [source] icy-pub:1 ; icy-br:128 ; icy-url:http://www.shoutcast.com <07/02/03@23:05:59> [source] icy-irc:#shoutcast ; icy-icq:0 ; icy-aim:N/A <07/02/03@23:06:00> [dest: 205.188.234.74] starting stream (UID: 0)[L: 1]{A: SHOUTcast Directory Tester}(P: 0) <07/02/03@23:06:01> [dest: 205.188.234.74] connection closed (0 seconds) (UID: 0)[L: 0]{Bytes: 8192}(P: 0) <07/02/03@23:06:02> [yp_add] yp.shoutcast.com added me successfully <07/02/03@23:08:02> [yp_tch] yp.shoutcast.com touched! <07/02/03@23:09:03> [yp_tch] yp.shoutcast.com touched! Exactly the same thing happens when i run Oddcast. What could i do to get the stream to work properly? Any help will be much appreciated here - thank you VERY much in advance for your suggestions! Best regards, Miki |

I'm sorry. I accidently posted this one here. It was meant to be posted in the technical forum. So please move on over there :-)
Thanks, Miki |
