***Playlist Graphical Redraw Bug with Winamp 2.9x***
This bug has already been mentioned in the below thread but was not resolved.
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread....hreadid=135974 Essentially, when Always On Top is enabled (a _new_ piece of information I need to add to the above post), and the Main Window is put into windowshade mode, the Playlist image corrupts. If Always On Top is disabled, this bug does not occur. In order to restore the Playlist image, I must either scroll, resize the playlist, or whatever else to redraw the Playlist. Bug Recreation List 1) Install Winamp 2.9x 2) Arrange Main Window and Playlist Window like first screenshot in attachment. Ensure Always On Top is on. 3) (just to be sure)...close Winamp. Reopen Winamp again. 4) Put Main Window into windowshade mode ==> (for 2nd screenshot) 5) Put Main Window into expanded mode ==> (for 3nd screenshot) Attached Image is Below... Perhaps it's just my computer (*cough* 3 computers *cough*) but I'd take suggestions on some other items that could cause this. 1) This bug has occured ever since 2.90. I have had this problem with 2.91 and even 2.95(installed to check whether it was fixed or not) 2) NO Plugins are installed. Default skin being used. NO 3rd party skins are installed althought this error does occur with 3rd party skins. 3) Have fully uninstalled and reinstalled several times. That means full uninstallation, and deletion of winamp.ini and Winamp folder. 4) System Specs - I've had this bug on 3 computers: Athlon 1700+XP / 256mb Ram / 80gb HDD / Radeon 9000 Pro 128mb / Windows XP Pro SP1 / DirectX 9.0a Acer 104CTi Tablet PC / 256mb Ram / 40gb HDD / Silicon Motion Lynx3DM 8mb / Windows XP for Tablet PC (superset of XP Pro) / DirectX 9.0a Fujitsu E300 Notebook / 160mb Ram / 3gb HDD / vidcard...? / Windows 2000 SP3 / DirectX 8 Last edited by NaMeR; 10th July 2003 at 21:00. |

I can't reproduce it either.
The weird thing is, my system is very similar to one of yours: MSI 6380E mobo (KT3 Ultra), Athlon XP1800+, 512mb ddr ram, Hercules Radeon 9000 Pro 128mb, M-Audio Revo, Win XP, DX9.0a Sure is a mystery to me.... |

Also confirmed that Always On Top must be enabled.

I think I may just reformat and go through a software install checklist very very slowly. I think I didn't notice before that "Always On Top" has to be enabled so that might've thrown off my efforts.
