I don't think anyone out there really thinks Bush went to war because of weapons, nor because Saddam was cruel to his people. Was he a bad guy? Hell yes! Are there hundreds of leaders in the world just as bad, if not worse, than Saddam? Hell yes! Just look at Bush's first priority. Even before the US had Iraq under control they spent days debating with the UN over who gets to sell the Iraqi oil. Their first concern was not stabilizing the country, setting up any kind of interim government, returning the country water supply to one that was potable. OIL! That was all that this war was about. And personally, the American policy on the whole thing makes me sick, and ashamed.
