I'd like to know about this too, I have the same problem. It's not shoutcast I think it has some thing to do with winamp or the dsp plugin couse I'll come back the next day and its like it just frooze up, but if i hit stop, and then play again. It starts streaming again.

Systems Specs.

512mb of ram
1 13.6g, 40gb, 60gb hdd's

Shoutcast Server 2: FreeBSD 4.6

1 Intel PIII 500mhz
256mb of ram
1 9gb SCSI HDD

Computer running Winamp with DSP Plugin: Windows XP Pro
1.4ghz AMD XP
512mb of ram
1 40g hdd
40x32x40 cdrw
6x4x32 dvdrw
FIX AM32(i think thats the model lol) mainboard
Onboard VIA AC'97 Audio
10/100 NIC Running at 100 FULL Duplex

all Computers and Servers are linked via a Cisco 2924 XL switch

My playlist consist of 6113 songs And they all play fine when im not streaming music, Random and Repeat are both enabled in winamp. I always leave winamp running and never had any trouble with it stopping untill I setup the DSP plugin from shoutcast d/l site. I just set all this up this week, so I think i have the current versions Winamp is v2.81. Also I have all the updates from windowsupdate on all the win boxs.

Thanks
