default skin

hi,

i've set winamp to load automatically when windows starts and it is always loaded with the default skin. even if i switch off my computer with a downloaded skin on, when windows starts up again, it switches back to the default skin.

that hasn't always been a problem. it worked fine before i downloaded a new skin and ever since then, the default one would always load. i deleted the skin that i downloaded to see if that fixed the problem but to no avail.

is there a way that i can make a skin of my choosing (MMD3 rocks ) to be the default one and load everytime winamp is opened?

can anyone help me with this problem?

thanks.

1. Go to the Winam3 folder (usually C:\Program Files\Winamp3\)
2. right click on the Studio.xnf file
3. select properties > General tab
4. make sure Read-only is not checked

Done that already, doesn't do a thing (still get the same problem described above)... I hate the default skin and I want my JRS!

Okay, uninstalled, reinstalled (v3.0d) with all opts. checked except Video, AOL, and internationalization. It fixed the problem perfectly, now it works like a dream again
