Mini browser doesn't auto update

Hello

Could anyone tell me how to do this? It used to, but i'm not sure if I've disabled something. Basically, whenever a different track plays, the browser doesn't update to display the information on the new artist/song.

Thanks

1. Make sure the correct internet connection type is selected in:
Winamp -> Prefs (Ctrl+P) -> Setup

Note: "No internet connection" checkmarked kills minibrowser lookups

2. Make sure the winamp.lks file is present in the main Winamp dir.
Open it in Notepad.

First line should read:

Winamp Links File v1.0
DefBrowseLoc http://info2.winamp.com/winamp/WA.html?Alb=$b&Art=$a&Cid=winamp&Tid=$g&Track=$t Get information about $a

3. Make sure you've not installed the 3rd-party "gen_nomoremb.dll" plugin

4. If you're behind a firewall, make sure it's configured to allow full internet access for Winamp.exe

1. "dial-up" is selected (although it's technically ADSL) - does that matter?

2. yep, the file was there and contained the info as above.

3. nope, this plugin not installed.

4. zonealarm is installed, i've allowed winamp to act as a server now, so i'll reboot and see if this works.

Thanks for your help

1. Yes it does matter.
LAN should be selected for ADSL, not Dial-up.
4. ZoneAlarm -> Program Control
Winamp -> Access: Both "Trusted" & "Internet" should be ticked.
Server settings are irrelevant.
