Connection Error when trying to Broadcast
Not long ago, I got a new computer, and now have to run out internet connection through a router in order for two computers to both have internet access. This router supposedly has a built in firewall. When I try to broadcast, I get this error:
yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (Cannot see your station/computer (IP: 68.86.122.75:8000) from the Internet, disable Internet Sharing/NAT/firewall/ISP cache (Connection refused)) I have tried disabling my firewall from my network connection preferences, but it doesn't seem to help. Is there any way to get around this, or will I not be able to broadcast because of my router and its private IP that it goes (begins with 192)? |

You will need to configure your router to forward incoming TCP request to the proper machine on your LAN. See your router's documentation for port forwarding or virtual server. Also you can try a quick forum search and see if this procedure has already been covered for your particular router.
