Does anyone know good, free dynamic on-air processor?

Hello everyone !

I am a happy broadcaster (beginner). I need something to compress a dynamic range of the audio material. I'm a user of Sound Solution (by Alessandro Tomassini) and this is propably the best ever made on-air processor for Winamp , but if anyone knows something else as good as Sound Solution or better - please let me know...

I'll be waiting right here

Not sure why Otsjuke was linked, anyways, dude.. slawek

Have you checked out OctiMax?
http://classic.winamp.com/plugins/d...mponentId=95237
It makes everything loud and flat frequency responce, and it's very very good at doing it. Better than any other wanna-be "multiband" processor on the winamp site. And way easy to use, either pick a preset ('club' sounded best to me) or tweak the config file with about 60 settings. Definately worth the price (after 15day trial)

izotope Ozone for winamp is ok
http://www.izotope.com/products/audio/ozone/winamp.html
but you'll be more happy with the DirectX version, which brings me to this point:::

Get this plugin:
http://classic.winamp.com/plugins/de...ponentId=97671
and start checking out DirectX effects, there's alot more to offer someone who wants to get a signature sound. And alot more radio related plugins, from plain multiband compressors to full FM-like processing.

and use google.com more =) *wink*wink*

i use custom DSP and a EMU10k1 (SBlive for example) for hardware based processing on the PC. Currently have a triple band compressor/limiter running full time with 0% CPU utilization and 100% stability =)

yeah...

Jesseg I have already tried iZotope Ozone and... it's not as good as I thought - overrated and costs much ... I can buy fully working dbx for that price (by eBay for example). I have found other DirectX files too like MBL4 and this one might be better for me (maybe). But I keep on looking

Thanks

Is there something more? (just to know)

By the way - OctiMax is ideal for streaming )))
