Naming the playlist

Can someone tell me how the @#$# I can name my playlist instead of using playlist001 etc???? Please help

moved from winamp (2.x) tech support to winamp3 tech support

Right click -> rename playlist
Type in appropriate playlist name -> hit Enter

Ok DJ Egg can you solve this for me then. I think it's been asked before but can you rename the playlists and then save them so when they are reloaded the aren't named playlist 001? Are there any components that do something to that effect?

After hitting "Enter", it should always remain as whatever you renamed it to.
If it reverts to "playlist001" after restarting winamp3, then make sure none of the files in the winamp3 dir are "read-only", especially studio.xnf and all metadata files in the "db" subdir.
