Playback Problems with CD

When I put in a music CD, Winamp launches and starts to play...

Problem... NO SOUND!!!

If I play the song from the hard drive, no problems.

How do I fix this?

System:

Win98se
PIII 933
768 Megs PC133 Pam
SB Live 5.1
Aopen CD 56x
GeForce 4 Ti4200
Linksys NIC
Plextor CD-RW 48x24x48 USB
Boston Speakers

Winamp 2.91 -> Prefs (Ctrl+P) -> Plugins -> Input:
Nullsoft CD/Linein plugin -> config
Checkmark "enable digital audio extraction"
(requires winamp restart to take effect)

OPPS! Forgot to mentioned I am using 2.80 (I LOVE the Gniss Plugin)

I do nothave the option you say to check...

Know where I can get 2.91 so I can do it?

NM! Found it via Google Search and d/l'ed and installed. Did what you said and nit it WORKS!!!

See that big "2" in the top right corner of every page?

Anyway, glad to hear you got it fixed

btw, have you tried the new Geiss2 plugin, or are you still using Geiss v1 ?

Well the version I have been using is Geiss_423 that I got a long time ago.
