Argh Some Songs Won't Play!

Ok, I recently downloaded Winamp 3, and it won't play some of my songs. I don't know why, either. It seems just random. It will play "Operation Ivy - One of These Days" but won't play "Sex Pistols - Anarchy in the UK." So I thought "Hmm... Winamp 3 might just be screwed up on my computer." So I installed Winamp 2.91, and it did the same thing! Could anyone help me? I have Windows XP.

What file formats are you having troubles with? (MP3, WMA, OGG, etc.)

Where did you get the MP3s that will not play. If downloaded, can you provide links?
Did you rip the files? If so, what program/process did you use.
Do they play in other media players?
