Use WMP 9.x
[edit] http://www.festerhead.com/foo.asx That's the asx code I pasted above. The link won't be valid forever. Right click on it and select 'save target as' to get the source. Or, scroll up and copy-n-paste. [/edit] |

ohh, do they need windows media 9.x to tune in because i uploaded to angel fire:
http://www.angelfire.com/pro/grego/index.html then click windows media player and some people seem to hear it fine, but some dont they need windows media player 9.x ?? on the people it doesnt work for, it looks like this on my dnas server: ! ![]() <08/15/03@19:37:13> [dest: 199.4.49.6] connection closed (0 seconds) (UID: 38)[L: 1]{Bytes: 8192}(P: 1) <08/15/03@19:37:14> [dest: 199.4.49.6] starting stream (UID: 39)[L: 2]{A: NSPlayer/9.0.0.2980 WMFSDK/9.0}(P: 1) <08/15/03@19:37:15> [dest: 199.4.49.6] connection closed (2 seconds) (UID: 39)[L: 1]{Bytes: 8192}(P: 1) <08/15/03@19:37:16> [dest: 199.4.49.6] starting stream (UID: 40)[L: 2]{A: NSPlayer/9.0.0.2980 WMFSDK/9.0}(P: 1) <08/15/03@19:37:25> [dest: 199.4.49.6] connection closed (5 seconds) (UID: 40)[L: 1]{Bytes: 40960}(P: 1) is what is says but then wenever anyone using winamp connects, it is fine! thanks |

Use WMP 9.x because it works.
It used to work for me under WMP 7.1 and above. Probably client codec issues. Upgrade to WMP 9.x and problem solved. Or, use a pls and Winamp Your link works. I removed mine. The 199.4.49.6 ip is me. I didn't hang around after I verified the stream connected and played. Hence, my low connect times. |
