Doubleclick enqueues

Hi, I`m running winamp 2.91 and Win98SE and I`ve got the following problem:

If I remember right, doubleclicking a file in the Explorer used to wipe the playlist and play that file. Now doubleclicking a file (when winamp is not running) loads the last used playlist and enqueues the file. If winamp is running, the song is enqueued and not played instantly.
I`ve found the OPTIONS-PREFERENCES-OPTIONS-LIBRARY setting that sets the action on doubleclick. I can chose between PLAY and ENQUEUE but both settings enqueue the song.
Can anyone help me? I want Winamp to clear the playlist or at least enqueue AND play the song when doubleclicking.

ctrl+p > preferences > file types > uncheck 'enqueue as default action'
