I hate to ask but...

I have had Winamp for a few years now, but only had one skin that I downloaded about three years ago. My old skin came in .zip format, and winamp 2.9 recognizes it no prob, but the new ones, the .wal format, it does not recognize. I checked the file association in winamp, and there is not even a .wal type file in the list. So i renamed them to .zip, but when I open them, they just look like the base skin. Please, can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong? I would appreciate any help.

WAL skins are for Winamp3. WA3 skins are not compatible with Winamp 2.

Winamp 2 skins are located at http://classic.winamp.com/skins/
