service full,disconnecting :(

This has been going on for weeks happens every so often. can anyone tell me whats causeing this???? How can I fix it?? thanks

Check your MaxUser value.

well I have max number of users at 1 because I use a relay service from live365. they stay on the line all the time. should i make my shoutcast not public and this will solve the problem. I thought if I max it on 1 no one else can get on my server and also it wouldnt affect my stream. what should I do ????

Either set MaxUser to 2 or switch to private. Try both and see if it solves it.

Private won't stop people from connecting. Just stop you from being listed in the SHOUTcast yp.

If you don't want anyone else to connect other than the Live365 relay, you're doing a good job.

For an even better job, keep the maxuser setting to one, toggle rip mode, and add the Live365 relay ip as reserved ip.

Attempted connections should have no impact on the DNAS.

the same error is still going on. It's funny because My stream stops completly no data is pushing through after it shows this error. when it says "Service full disconnecting" and the only way I get it started again is by closing and reopening winamp2 and the shoutcast server as well. Im trying to just make special Ip always have connection but i need some help. Where can I find this "sc_serv.rip" file so I can put the special Ip in there. Im configuring now but i cant find where to place the main IP that needs always to be connected. Thanks ahead for the info
