Why does winamp 2.x randomize CD order?

I noticed when I insert a CD to be played by winamp, the songs are not in the order in the playlist that they are on the CD.

If I take the CD out of the computer, and re-insert it, they come up in a different order than last time.

I do NOT have the "Shuffle" button pushed. Is this normal??

Have a look at winamp.ini and check the following lines:
[...
shuffle_morph_rate=
...
shuffle=
...]

my shuffle is off.
values: morph_rate=50, shuffle=0

Instead inserting new cd and wait winamp open, try:
Winamp Main Menu -> Open -> Audio CD

Why bother editing winamp.ini?
All you have to do to enable/disable shuffle is press "S".
Press ctrl+p, go to Shuffle and edit the morph rate there.

I think that if Shuffle button isn´t pushed (as he says), the better start point to figure out what is happening is to look at winamp.ini.
