for a first skin this is amazing! i LOVE the simple-ness you have used.

just a few little picky points... the cbuttons are to.. out of place.. thats the prev, play, shop etc..

the volume and balance IMO don't fit. they just stand out to much.

other than them theres not much going wrong here cant wait to see how this goes along.

good luck, and welcome to skinlove.

Thank you, I can see the point about the volume but I don't get the buttons (I am not that good at skinning :P) and thanks for the support, I do have to admit pretty much 99% of the graphics are from Bulletin Board Free Skins

What does IMO mean?

just play with the buttons abit. they don't have to look like the standerd cbuttons you see everyday. look at almost ANY foomonkey skin he uses his own style cbuttons. let me find an example......

aha, this is a good foomonkey skin.

and this, the new sonic skin.

you just play abit with those buttons and fix up a new volume / balance and this skin will be 1 of my favs.

this is gonna turn out as a really good skin.

Paint Shop Pro is 1 of the top programs used by skinners. the top 3 would be, Paint Shop Pro, PhotoShop and MSPaint

hey don't forget gimp. It's free! for people like me who don't do design for a living or are still in high school and not really have any job yet, free is good.

About the skin, this is great for a first skin. my first and only isn't that good but im just starting really. anyway i like it a lot. one of the only things i would change is the volume and balance sliders. they just seem too plain to me

looks like you're using Template Amp by cyana. i see bugs in the shuffle/repeat buttons and on the eq bars. And I know that that template doesn't have those bugs, so they're your fault Solution: be more careful

About the windowshade bug, read section 5d of this:
http://www.terra.es/personal5/jignafez/tips2.htm#sec5d
The rest of that tute might be of interest to you as well

IMO means In My Opinion.

///edit. It's late and I might be wrong, but it doesn't look like your problem is the windowshade line bug. It looks like you've just misaligned the windowshade like you did the shuffle and repeat.

If you find those grey squares distracting, try this template:
