Does Winamp 3 have a Volume Leveling Option?!

Hello... n00b here. I'm still mackin' the old school Winamp 2.7. Haven't felt the need to dld Winamp 3 since they sound the same. Anyways... My question:
I'm also using MusicMatch Jukebox 8.00.0101 because it has a "volume leveling" option. Does Winamp have this option at all? Basically what it does is play all songs on the playlist at the same volume, meaning, the tracks that seem quieter are "louder" so you can't tell the difference.
I'm playing music off my PC for an upcoming party, but MusicMatch seems to 'burp' some of my mp3's every once in awhile... It's rather annoying. I was just curious to see if Winamp 3 did have this supported cuz MMJB is annoying. And I prefer to use Winamp > MMJB.
Also, does Winamp 3 have a digital surround plug-in??

Thanx guys!!!

In addition to the DSP ReplayGain normalization component Sawg linked to above, and to answer the 2nd part of your question, there are many 3rd Party DSP/Effect components (not plugins) that have been developed for Winamp3. In the past I've personally used DFX for Winamp3 and have found its 3D surround sound to be pretty good. But as I said, there are many to choose from. Up to you which one you prefer or not. Trial and error is the way to go when dealing with 3rd party components. Keep what does the job for you and dump what does not.

Thanx guys for the links!! Much happier to be using Winamp > MMJB. And better yet... you guys are free!! MMJB makes you pay for everything, from the program, to the surrounds sound, to the visualizations! I don't know why people would chose that over Winamp anyways. I just seemed to miss this forum somehow.
Thanx again!!

Another dumb question, I installed the volume leveling option... where do I find it at in the program itself?? I have it on the default skin right now (until I learn to navigate thru the program).
Sorry for all the n00bish questions

Narc... I can't figure it out... I swear I must be retarded

I tried surfing the web for help, but all I could come up with was people saying about a radio setting and a setting that makes all the songs sounds exactly the same. :confizzle:
Is there a site out there with help on what I'm doing? I couldn't find what people mentioned above. Do I need something else to make it work properly?
I scanned 2 files, but neither are NEAR each other in volume. If you're not getting annoyed at me yet, I'd appreicate any insite you can give me.

Thanx again!!

Why search the web for tech help on a Winamp3 component?

That is what this forum is for. Anyway, here is a screenshot (from my puter) to help you better understand... screenshot

Just make any necessary adjustments in the right-side panel. I use this component all the time and it works quite well.
