weird thing with ogg in Winamp 2.92

I'm having a problem playing .ogg files in Winamp 2.92. After trying different in_vorbis.dll files I finally was able to get the music to play.

the following versions didn't work

1.35
1.33a
1.32

The ogg files didn't play, and the file info box would not come up.

Then tried v1.2.9 and voila the files played.

The ogg files are normal as far as I know. The vendor info is:
Xiph.Org libVorbis I 20020717

any ideas?

id3v2 tags on ogg vorbis files are no good
