CD Ripping!

In Winamp 2.95 Beta Version There Is A CD Ripping Option And It Allows you to rip CD'S in OGG FORMAT and WAV FORMAT.
Can I Rip Cd's To MP3 FORMAT?

Yes, but you have to get the 2 mp3Lame codec files from http://winampheaven.net/ .
Put both of the .dll's into your Winamp/Plugins folder.

Not always. My OGGs are fairly high quality VBR and are larger than my mp3s (at least I think. I'm not positive)

I tried the WA encoder, it is still too buggy. CDex works like a charm for me too.

The CD Ripping in Winamp works awsome for me.
I haven't noticed any bugs at all. Every option works perfect.
And as of Winamp5, the ripper is even cooler.

The latest public version of Winamp, Winamp 2.91 does not support CD Ripping. There is a leaked version of 2.95 available, but it is not offical and therefore not supported. CD Ripping is not supported.
