CS and Winamp

my brother said there was something that allows u to control winamp while your playing cs. I found this interesting and was wondering if anyone else had heard or has this?

You can use a plugin that accepts key strokes and winamp commands. There are several available, such as rm-x, etc. These should work in HL.

The thing that sucks about hlamp is that its a bitch to get working correctly.

i read that hlamp was getting read by valve servers as being a cheat (which of course it is not). that problem probably got cleared up but don't take my word for it.

That would most likely be because its scripts calling up external programs to do things. Thats how a lot of hacks work. Anytime you have a script that calls up another program in half-life...

Would you really spent processor capacity on processing music files while playing HL/CS? I love music, but wouldn't waste 1%.

Personally I hate music when I play. How the fuck do you know when someone is sneaking up on you? In CS the best way to play is no music, volume on pretty load, and headphones.

Also make sure to find a very comfortable position in your chair where you can really concentrate on playing. If you do this then you have potential to be one of the best NON Hackers out there. Too bad there are so many hackers and maybe more people would want to become awesome at CS.

Thats why u find a server or a clan with a server that doesnt tolerate hacking and play there. Cuase those little hacking bastids are everywhere.
