Making a Skin..
Hey. I am trying to make a skin. I have all the pictured edited like I want and I am trying to make the skin work but it work. When I open my skin only the main box is edited...the playlist and equilizer are the same as they were before...but they shoudld be differnt. Why aren't they??

Are you trying to use a winamp2 skin in winamp3?
Hmm the EQ would show then. Make sure all bitmaps are in the same folder in your skins directory. |

did you use a different program or a different method to save the EQMAIN.BMP and PLEDIT.BMP as you did the other BMPS? Sometimes that's the cause of problems like that.

I used photoshop to edit all my images...they are all in the same folder and I am using winamp2 (and I just reinstalled it make sure it was all right)...but it still doesn't work..

Make sure they have the exact same name as the original files
Make sure they all have the ending '.bmp'. If some have not, go back to photoshop, open them, goto 'file' -> 'save as' and save em under the original name. Sorry if this is too detailled, I just don't know how good you know your programs, no offense. Check in Windows or Photoshop if your images have the same properties, for example that all are 24 bit RGB bitmaps. Hope it helps. |
