nak error ( we do not currently list servers not streaming MP3 or NSV)

Well what can I say? I got back this afternoon and kicked the server into action. Had a coffee,

and then this error was being repeated in the server log:

yp.shoutcast.com gave error (nak)
yp.shoutcast.com gave extended error (we do not currently list servers not streaming MP3 or NSV)

It even persists when I am streaming every 5 mins

Does anyone have an idea whats up?? I have been running succesfully now for over a week with no problems or disconnections and my server hasn't even fallen over (yet)

My setting havn't changed (me thinks) because I haven't messed with them and I cant work this one out.

Any ideas ?? Oh... I did search the forums, I saw 1 similar post and the advise was to change the header (what header ???

BTW .. I worked out how to get my own server status page on my site using asp. tnx for the advice guys

Try a forum search, because I have yet to run into that error.

Using the plain old SHOUTcast DSP and streaming MP3?

That means your content-type header is wrong, but if you use the DSP you don't ave an option to change that. Could be an oddity with the shoutcast.com servers. Try waiting it out.

Mmmmmmmmmm, yeah, NSV shoutcast video stream / webcam... but no sound (i'll look into this @ later date). Its been fine for a week now and then this ... d'oh.

Using NSVcap?

Make sure you have
content-type:video/nsv
In the headers box.

I'm guilty as sin,

I did change the content type title on friday but noticed no difference.

I have just put the content type back to what it was and everything is back to normal.
