I did get the 2Wire thinger to allow me to broadcast, and, well, it's not as complicated as some things, and it's not as simple as some other things. Quite strangely, I've noticed a lack of activity where this subject has been mentioned not only here, but elsewhere, and being the astute and fictional Metaphysician that I happen to be... well... "virtually" be, I'll leave the matter at this. If anybody needs further help with their 2Wire 2Wire 2Wire router try to drop a note in here or email me at apollonianking@hotmail.com, and I will be pleased to post explicit and detailed instructions on the steps I took to get my 2Wire router to play fairly.
You do not need to use DMZ.
You must create a server by hand at the 2Wire homepage and then set its attributes using their disturbing and awkward web interface.
This requires carefully allocating each possible port number and blah blah blah...
Shoot! Dead Air!! and no excuse with WinAmp!!!
