Broadcasting our Radio
Hi All,
I have a server with low bandwidth and i want another server taking that load. We have a machine at the studio and another server, the studio machine isn't capable of connecting so many users. So we want the server to connect to the studio machine and forward the stream, this way the server takes all the load.. Please help me how do we do that?thx |

Have the secondary server relay the main server.
On the secondary servers DNASs sc_serv.ini/conf configuration file: code: Set relayport of the secondary DNAS to the portbase of the main DNAS. Set relayserver of the secondary DNAS to the ip of the main DNAS. Also, don't forget to remove the comment designator ( ; ) from the front of both lines after making the changes then restart the DNAS. |

Hi Wakasmir,
If you ask us to modify your config file just PM me and I will return it to you. If it is just to launch the *NIX server, telnet to your relay server. cd to the directory where it is installed and then type ./sc_serv & this will launch the server in background. If you want me to do the process feel free to PM me too. |
