Good DJ system

I will hopefully be a dj/vj next year. I was wanting to go ahead and start looking for a good sound system. I plan on spending $2000-3000 USD on the sound system alone. I need to be able to pump out a good bit of high volume music. I'm going to be using my computer to play the music(screw hundereds of CDs), and that's basically all I have so far.

Some suggestions on what I should get?

Also, I'm looking for a good projector for around $2000 USD. Any suggestions for that are also welcome.
