Help! 2.91 won't play Cd's...

In brief, 3.0 was fine, but I decided to stick with 2.91, and every CD I play dosen't seem to be playing in Winamp, although the disc is definitely spinning and being accessed.

The spectrum analyzer in Winamp shows nothing, so there is no signal to Winamp. Regular files are fine, though.

Further - when trying to play CD's, the kbps field says 14h - is this normal?

Thanks guys

In WA2...
1. Ctrl+P (for Preferences)
2. Plug-ins > Input
3. double click 'Nullsoft CD/LineIn plug-in'
4. checkmark 'Enable digital audio extraction when possible'
5. close & restart Winamp

Yes, 14h stands for 14 hundred, there's only room for 3 digits.
44100 (samples per second) * 16 (bit resolution) * 2 (channels) = 1411.2 kbps

Thanks guys - it's working now.

By the way as a recording studio, I am interested in the highest sampling freq. winamp can handle.

My workstation can go up to 384 khz, though only the Llama can hear that far up. Can it do 96 and 196Khz? What about 32 bit files?

Thanks.
