windows media player q

i was just playing around and i think i figured out the problem...whenever i tried to stream from my site it said i was never connected..but i was etc etc..anyway i went to on the side radio tuner..and it poped up this window inside wmp asking if i was connected to click on this link..i did that..and sure enough when i went to file > open url it streams fine...so is there an option in wmp to set it to always be online or something like that? im hopeing that it fixes the problem at school to..
