Why is that all the rightwing mouthpieces, who complain about drugs, sex, pornograhpy and crime...always end up doing drugs, bizarre sex, reading pornography and fiddling their taxes?

It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this.

Hmm. Democratic Hipocracy

I have been a long time Rush radio fan. I have never heard him preach about drugs and/or drug crimes. The Dem's are so quick to hit him hard with anything they can, because they are reducing in popularity by the day. They originally started the wave of Conservative hate crimes, when President George W. Bush entered the presidential office. They tried every form of news propaganda to get the public stupid about the war. They failed, we are now in the war and doing a damn good job. Then attacking Arnold Schwarzenegger, seemed like a good idea. They failed, he is now Governer of California. Attacking Rush Limbaugh will fail, because he will receive the best treatment for his disorder. The people of the United States will soon realize liberal politicians cannot be trusted. They are cowardly mongrels who suffice only to mock at others mistakes.

For now, until Rush recovers, we have Glenn Beck to lead us straight!

Funny how Rush bitches as much now as he did when the Dems were in the white house
He's addicted to pain pills because it must be painful to live with himself everyday. I'd be deaf for sure.

I listen to his show which makes me as informed as you. The only difference is that I have a brain of my own. You apparently rely on his........ok, I'll say brain.

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the dumbest American out there.

Not Listening, I guess.

I guess you aren't listening hard enough, because anyone can tell that O'reilly bitches way more than Rush. Rush simply covers one "political" topic a day, while O'reilly will complain on whatever is hot that day.

I don't recall a liberal politician leading three countries to war over fictional WMD and imagined Al-Queda connections, but maybe i'm just a biased evil liberal with possible terrorist connections.

Oh, you mean those "fictional WMDs" that Kuwaiti officials recently intercepted trying to pass through their country in a smuggle? The same WMDs that Bill Clinton himself this year said existed? The fictional WMDs that the Butcher of Baghdad used to kill his own people? No, they don't exist. By the way, I have an original Rembrandt to sell you...

Funny how people forget the past when it suits their own whims. And let's all remember that "weapons inspectors" aren't "weapons finders" -- their job was to examine any weapons presented to them, not to actually go out and find some.

The Kuwait story sounds like a fairy-tale. The only source I can find about it is from WorldNetDaily, a news site about as balanced and reliable as Sturmfront. The report was dated Oct 1st, and seeing as no reliable news sources picked it up, it seems like a hoax.

Nobody is denying Saddam used chemical weapons in the past.

Have a gander at why people with common sense can't take this guy seriously:

Quote:
"One of the things I want to do before I die is conduct the Homeless
Olympics...[Events would include] the 10-meter Shopping Cart Relay,
the Dumpster Dig, and the Hop, Skip and Trip." (L.A. Times, 1/20/91)

On NAFTA: "If we are going to start rewarding no skills and stupid
********-I'm serious, let the unskilled jobs, let the kinds of jobs
that take absolutely no knowledge whatsoever to do--let stupid and
unskilled Mexicans do that work." (Radio show quoted in FRQ, Fall/93)

Speculating on why a Mexican national won the New York marathon: "An
immigration agent chased him for the last 10 miles." (USA Weekend,
1/26/92)

This is asinine! A Caesar Chavez Day in California? Wasn't he
convicted of a crime?" (Quoted in FRQ, Winter/94)

"Kurt Cobain was, ladies and gentleman, I just--he was a worthless
shred of human debris..." (TV show, 4/11/94)

"When a gay person turns his back on you, it is anything but an insult
; it's an invitation." (Quoted in FRQ, Summer/94)

"Feminism was established to allow unattractive women easier access to
the media." (Quoted in FRQ, Summer/93)

"Militant feminists are pro-choice because it's their ultimate avenue
of power over men.... It is their attempt to impose their will on the
rest of society, particularly on men." (Ought to Be, p.53)

politicians in general cannot be trusted, anyone who says that non-liberals are any better is lying to themselves. and no, the people won't realise.

i don't know who limbaugh is, other than a radio presenter, but i hope he does get through this, as it's a painful situation for anybody to be addicted to drugs.

but what's all this talk about right and left? there's only two parties with any chance of winning in the US, and one is right wing, and the other more right wing... left doesn't come into it.

A big part of that............. is his sense of humor. A bit off color...... much like mine.

And anyone who knows Rush and his program........ knows this. O.K.

Also anyone with common sense knows that they are just his opionons too.

I agree with much of what Rush says.... but not all of it.

"it is just his take on the matter" as Rush likes to say.

I think he is and still will be a good balance for the stuff comming from the left.

So you can post any "quote" from Rush you like.

"It's probably TRUE" or taken out of context, or just meant to be funny, or you just don't get it, or you have your head buried in the sand.

Like I said "it's no big deal" Rush will get through this with out a doubt. And be better than ever!

"i don't know who limbaugh is - zoomt"

''Rush Limbaugh has only 20 million people listening to him every day."

Rush Limbaugh is a "big loveable teddy bear - Rush"

you were still correct about the Right and the More Right. Or, the Left and the More Left. Either way, they're both tying the people to the government as a crutch. Look at the freedoms we lost under GW. Look at the destruction of our military by Clinton. Look at the scandal that made Regan look like a liar, look at the scandal that made Clinton look like a fucking wanker. And don't start on the "it's okay to cheat on your wife and then lie to a federal jury about it." cause I've fucking had it with that angle.
It's time to face facts. America's politics needs a revolution. Not nessesarily a violent one (as some thing revolution means guns and lots of death), but something that puts more hats in the ring. Fuck the Liberal Republicans and the Conservative Democrats. Fuck them all. Fuck them up thier stupid asses.

Go read a book without pictures

The hardest thing I've ever had to do was admit to myself,
and to someone else that I was a drug addict.
Nothing has even come close to it in my life.
So on that I can sympathize with Rush.
Regardless of what you take or how you get it, the end result
is always the same for an addict.
Somewhere, sometime, you have to admit you're in trouble,
and you need help.
Either that or die in some back alley, or some institution, or jail.

What Rush has said is not as important now, as what he will say,
once he comes out of rehab.
And for those of us who've suffered the despairs of addiction,
and the spiritual miracles of recovery, we'll know by his words,
and how he says them, whether he got it.
I've never agreed with his philosophy on addiction. Never.
But now I see his philosophy was based on denial.
An addicts denial will warp his thinking and cloud his judgement.
If he comes out with the same opinion on addiction,
as he did when he went in, he didn't get it.
But if he comes out with a newfound philosophy, that addict's
shouldn't be locked up, etc. then he got it.
Time will tell.
