Your thoughts about Toto

Toto is for sure in everyones top5 "hated by the critics"-list. What do you musiclovers have to say about this band.
Toto was my first contact with rock (teh've got influences from pretty much everything, from funk and prog-rock to classical), but nowadays I prefer harder blues-heavy, like Zeppelin & Ten years After or The White Stripes. I didn't say I don't like Toto anymore and I have some of their records, but I think there are several radio stations that have completely SESTROYED some of their biggest hits like "Africa" by playing it 'til i was sick of it.
