I downloaded v2.7 because i just like to know that i have the latest versino of this most brilliant player...i have never had very huge problems with winamp that would cause me to post to this forum, but when huge noticable bugs creep into winamp in a later version, it kinda says to me that stress testing isn't much of an option here, but just get it out and rush with a new version. I have an IBM Thinkpad laptop and had no problems with v2.666 at all, but after installing v2.7, i cannot seem to use winamp without at least one problem occuring. i would queue up a few songs in the playlist, skip past one or two and suddenly find the rest of the playlist being skipping automatically for me. mmm...i don't think i had that option enabled did i? NULLSOFT FIX THE BUG PLEASE! This is a very serious high priority bug indeed! btw, does NULLSOFT read this forum everyday and take our opinions into account SERIOUSLY?

Yes, every post gets read & noted (if worthy).
When submitting bug reports it is also customary to include all your relevant sys specs, eg:
CPU + Speed, RAM, Soundcard, Videocard, Windows OS, DirectX version.
(ok, you've got an IBM Thinkpad laptop, but we need to know more than that)

Also include a list of any extra 3rd party plugins you may have downloaded.

Many people have no problems with v2.70 whatsoever, myself included.
If you want to reset Winamp to use all the default settings, goto the \Winamp dir & remove/delete the "winamp.ini" file. Make sure Winamp is fully closed first. Defaults will be set next time you open Winamp.

The only other thing I can think of here is that you may have some dead links in your playlist. Check that the path & filename of each entry is correct. That's assuming I've interpreted your words correctly, I'm not rightly sure !

Yeah, good point Magnezium !
Make sure the Shuffle button is OFF (main window).
Oops . . . I should've thought of that too.
