Might be a stupid question, but what part of a skin is an AVS?

avs = advanced visualization studio i tihnk it stands for.. its some fancy plugin, has nothing to do with skinning

Personally i think it s*x. I have xmms which is a winamp clone for linux. Whenever i am in linux i always have a couple visualizations going. Third party one are much much better. Even Sonique ones are better than winamps. Then again windows chews up so much CPU that it really isn't worth having it open
