Bandwidth Speed Test
I got this results from the online bandwidth speed test:
"Speed 1.3 megabits per second Communications 1.3 megabits per second Storage 157.3 kilobytes per second 1MB file download 6.5 seconds Subjective rating Good" What can I use, or how can i calculate how many listeners I can broadcast to? I used the one you guys post here and told me that 286 kbps, and calculated using that. Now, with this inforamtion I got above, which nunbers I can use for the calculation? I am on cable. |

Normally Cable/DSL users can get about 10 or 12 listeners
at 24kpbs. I run mine at 23kpbs with 10 listeners, but i'm pushing it a little. |

I have cable, and I'm broadcasting at 64kbps with a 15 listener max.

Great, I just tweaked my TCP and now went up to 2.2 mega bits and 273 for storage, will then proceed to set up server for 8 or 10 users I guess. Thank You guys.

Make sure you're using the upload test, not the download.

Thank You fester, I do realize now the upload numbers is the key here, so I went to the page and tested at: download 2,474 kbps and upload 258 kbps. So 258 kbps/32khz = 8 users.
