weapon of choice
ok suppose a very rich relative offers to buy u one and only one guitar which one would u choose and why
(a) a les paul; (b) a strat or (c) any other guitar personally i would go for the les paul anyday cause it suits the type of music i play and also because of the name ;-) |

I would take the most expensive one and return it to get the money, so I could hire Christopher Walken to dance to the Subject Title.

A srat for me.
I've had an 'encore' for just over 10 years, many a nursery-rhyme played on it (I can remdition anything from Humpty Dumpty to Jack and Jill). Alas there are finger marks on the fretboard now.![]() A strat would look nice in it's place. Preferably in natural wood.

Gibson Les Paul Iron Cross edition...Custom guitar that James Hetfield uses that has gold striping on it and a big gold iron cross on the bottom face of the body, so Metallica fans should know what I'm talking about...Love the looks of that specific guitar, and I love the heavy and dirty sound Gibsons give off...
![]() ...still trying to find a picture on the internet to show to you guys... A very close Japanese friend I knew a while ago once said to me "Watashi no koto wo oboeta, onegai shimasu...Yakusoku?" I forgot his name though... |

A tea-chest, broom handle and some wire.
It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this. |

Bah! Kids nowadays, they want everything on a plate. In my day, if we broke a string, we had to pluck our own pubic hair and fashion a string and then tune it.
You don't want to know what the percussionist had to go through if he broke his marracas! It's been said that I could start an arguement in an empty room.....I see no reason to disbelieve this. |

Yes, like that.
Actually the best version officially released is the one one Led Zeppelin DVD (my personal oppinion). The Song Remains The Same-version is a bit stiff and suffers from some rigidity... |

By the way have you felt the power of live "Dazed And Confused"? I Like those sex-fixed "uh ah aaaaaaaaahh suck it yeah"-lyrics. Beats any Austin Powers in horniness

. In the town where i live quite many of them who prefer new stuff like [insert the name of any NuMetal-band here] or Metallica usually still accept old hard rock as "yeah, sounds pretty good". That's a good sign. What I like most with old hard rock is the blues-dimension. Have you listened to Cream (eric clapton (gt), jack bruce (voc, bass) and ginger baker (drums!!!)or Ten Years After (with alvin lee on gt), they're british too? That's even more blues than Zep but still heavy & psychedelic. |

I reccommend Creams album "Disreali Gears"
and Ten Years Afters "Live At Fillmore East" or "Ssssh". One of Ten Years After's songs (I'm Going Home) is actually included in the Woodstock-movie. [edit]Both bands have released good compilations remember that you allways can check bands you want to discover at http://www.allmusic.com[/edit] |

Next to the Gibson Les Paul, I like the Fender Highway 1 Stratocaster...
