Renaming the dll makes the DSP go away
Thanks for bearing with me on this.
I'vee renamed the dsp_sc.dll exactly s you suggest but the old DSP is then no longer listed in Winamp. (I shut winamp and restarted it in case that made a difference. I'vee tried other valid filenames for the .dll always retaining the ending .dll and avoiding dots or spaces in the filename and the same effect occurs. Then if I rename it dsp_sc.dll again it shows up in the DSP/effects list when I restart Winamp. Am I doing something wrong? I haven't yet reinstalled the v1.8.2 DSP. In case it matters the only other plug-in in the list is the SAM Encoders (dsp_encoders.dll) which appears to be unaffected by all my renaming. Thanks Kevin |
