Cd Recording

i downloaded winamp 5.0 beta 2 .now how do i get the cd recording part to work or come up

Open the Media Library(Press Alt+L) -> select your CD burner from the menu on the left under 'Devices' -> click 'Add...' at the bottom and choose the files you want to burn -> click the 'Burn' button.

Right now you're limited to 2x burning though. Once Winamp 5 becomes purchasable you will be able to burn at higher speeds.

Uhhh...you can't buy the pro license yet. How do you know how good the Mp3 ripping is unless you have a cracked, and therefore illegal, version?

I haven't tried it yet. Had you fully READ my post, you would have gotten that.

Just open Winamp 5 and look at the Pro area. It says that with pro, you can rip cds to mp3's (preferred).
