removing personal traces off computer

When I've watched a porn video (or just some personal stuff in winamp or on internet) I obviously don't want my girlfriend to find out that I'm not completely satisfied with our sexlife when she's using the computer. Computers usually register just about anything that you do, right..
So what suggestions do you guys (and girls)have about removing traces so that this info won't appear to others via the private network or on the computer itself.
How do you remove traces manually.
How do you hide, or better use a password for one single folder on windows 98II.

Wet wipes should help remove any stubborn traces you may have left behind on your PC after you've been watching pornography.

Available at all good 711 stores

Hmm.. you could put your files in a .zip and rename it to something different to make it harder to open

Download a file eraser program that over writes files. Download Tweak UI and set it to not keep records of recently opened files and delete your history. Don't use IE as it's a bitch at not letting you erase things like your history. Use Mozilla and use your eraser tool on it's cache directory. Don't let your media player keep a record of files previously opened.

Or jut face up to the fact you beat off furiously to kiddie porn and hand yourself up the FBI.

WIndow washer works pretty good too
But you do know honesty works well why not have her watch it with you?
You could be surprized in the outcome maybe, Either getting your butt whipped or turning her on.

She's just about to come over so thanks for the quick responses I'll watch the videos with her, if she's going to be pissed off i'll download TWEAK UI and WINZIP if she's still not ok with it I'll wipe my tears (using wet wipes) and go to a dating site for a new girlfriend

I might suggest that you actually try and sort out your sexlife first, as porn is rather boring. I mean why watch people having sex when you can be having sex yourself?

allright, allright but I guess at a certain age it's quiet hard to stick with one girl (a genetic determination for most species) so instead of sleeping with another or with many, watching a video is a descent alternative.
But back to computers now I'll give one of these cleansing software a try, let you know if it works also for the benefit of others

I totally agree with Vixen on this one. I use Window Washer only because other people in my house use my Computer, and my fiacne knows I watch porn. So, yeah go with Window Washer.

Everyone should use such a program at least to save hundreds of mb of useless diskspace.
