standard keyboard shortcuts (ZXCVB) don't work!

I installed winamp 2.91 on a new computer (win200). I have a STANDARD keyboard. The shortcut keys for the main window (except arrows for volume +/- and ctrl-tab for weitching between windows, alt-g, alt-e, alt-w) don't work! We are talking about the standard zxcvb and l shortcuts here and I find it so ridiculous that I can't believe it but is this a bug anyone else has come across? These probably are default builtin things, can they be manually configured/fixed?
I tried winamp 1.73 and they work. Can it be anything that I have done wrong?

The problem went away! Nice. But still non-deterministic...

I'm guessing the focus wasn't in the main window, but in another window (the Playlist, EQ, etc.).

I've been having the same problem. After searching around these forums, i found that if you have Nvidia's nview thing enabled, it can cause that problem. Disabling it works for me, maybe it will work for you too. this also only seems to affect the shortcuts used in the main window. if focus is on the playlist, they work just fine.
