Question about branding videos and NSV Encoding
I have a question about branding videos (ie: placing a logo in the bottom right hand corner of the screen such as MTV or XRM TV). How is this done besides throwing the video into a program like Vegas Video? It can be done, but then you have to encode the file and that can take ages if you are encoding a long movie, and even just a short tv episode or music video. Is there software that will allow you to insert a logo or text onto a video besides the Title Update on NSV? That is sort of choppy and unprofessional looking. I like the way it is done on XRM TV - perhaps you would be able to tell me how that was done? Or perhaps someone knows of a program that will allow you to do it in realtime before it goes out or something. If NSV can do it with text it should be able to be done with an image in realtime.
Also, is their a plugin or addition to NSV or a third part application that will allow the batch conversion of Windows Media Video (.WMV) files into .NSV? I have several videos that are encoded as this file type, and I can also encode to this file type from videos and things I have made quicker. Any ideas? One last thing... what type of Meta Data do I need to encode on a video, or how can I configure the stream to display the currently playing file... I am using a playlist of encoded NSV files and want the title to appear in Winamp TV for every video that plays, just like the ones on there now that display the currently playing music video or movie. Let me know, I would appreciate it. darkstarradio.com - internet radio and beyond! |
