zootm reiser has been stable for a long time, just not always brilliant .

there were a few horror stories back in the day about it, but reiser 4 is shaping up to be mind blowing, seems similar to what microsoft are trying to achieve with winfs. except very fast performance from it (if you look at their benchmarks).
should be interesting resier4 is completely modular at final testing phase no doubt will replace reiser3 in the 2.6 kernel im not sure if it has already.

Reiser4 is architected for military grade security. You'll find it is easy to audit the code, and that assertions guard the entrance to every function.

frankly this arguement could run and run, with no successful result.. It as at the end of the day the users choice.. What i run will not be what you like its about choice as long as the choice is left to the consumer and not a dictator company then its all good.
