Okeydokey. I'm a Subaru fan. I want to make a Subaru skin. I would like to know

1. i dont really know anything about legalities of using logos sorry, but a suggestion would be to just change thier logo a little, i dont think that it would matter too much about putting pic of a car one the skin
2. You can check out WSD skins http://members.nbci.com/WSDskins they have an amazing tutorial
3. What you put on the skin should some from you, personaly i think that what you put on the skin is up to you and not someone else
4. dont use a skinner.exe and then not change the image at all. and skin all components main, eq, playlist, browser and avs, and also Mikroamp if you have it,

As far as legalities go... well we've had a pizza hut skin featured among others - so dont worry about it for now. Its free
advertising for them why should they care? As long as you don't charge for it i think you're OK.

And as far as design goes - it all depends.
Anything has the possiblity good as long as its done right - its the stuff that YOU design actually that matters, not really what you copy and paste into it. (Provided what you do Copy and paste into it looks OK )

Oh, and (self-important throwaway line) I'm an experienced web developer and programmer, with experience working with C++ and VB, so I've had quite a bit of experience with debugg(er)ing programs :P

The bad news: No beta's unfortunately - they've all been assigned and as far as i know they still haven't even distributed
to the testers yet-

The good news is it should be out around christmas - so you wont have to wait long hopefully

1. I don't know anything about logos (just copyrights) but I agree with Xerxes, I would think as long as you're not making money off their logo you should be fine.

2. This is going to sound silly, but make it from your heart.....don't do things skinwise just cuz you think someone else will think it's cool...do it because it's what you want on your skin.

3. I would love it if someone would make a black Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder skin *creamin' my jeans...almost*
