Shoutcast On a webserver

The server side of it is easy. Firstly, you obviously need to upload the software.

Say you've uploaded it to /shoutcast. Login to ssh/telnet, go into the shoutcast directory (type cd shoutcast), then you have to set the permissions so it can be run. (type chmod 744 /shoutcast/sc_serv)

Then its a simple case of running the program, which can be done by typing "/shoutcast/sc_serv"

Then all should be hunky dory in the world.
