I have personally found oddsocks trancoder to be very dificult to set up (it's only available in source code format and seems to have many dependencies that i cannot seems to resolve). Have you made sure that you have shuffle=0 set in both .conf files for sc_trans because i have set up 2 sc_trans processes that i started about 5 seconds apart and the time difference of about 5 seconds has stayed constant for 4 or 5 days now.
