They're getting a bit old for the touring game now. I'll settle for the DVD I think....

Or you could come north.

I've seen them once, they're crossed off my list now. Been there (got the t-shirt). Onwards, next band!

How far are you from gig-land then? It's a supposedly small country, but you guys keep adding bits on here & there.

In any case... I think they'll play the small venues. Perhaps the Britannia pub in Plymouth>

True.

I'm not keen on the very large shows (Wembley Arena, NEC), you just don't get the atmosphere. Small or nothing.

I just saw them this year, they seem to be as in-shape as any other band I've seen. 3 hours of classic Rush including 20 minutes of drum solo-ing. <-Bliss

Neil Peart's the ultimate warrior. As for his kit - it was custom-built by those little guys at Fraggle Rock. What a combination.

If you look closely you'll see some of the little guys. They're housed in the bass drum (it has a door on the side). Stupid place to hang out I know......

they used to insist on playing smaller places like scotland, but on the last tour they didn't (trust me - i wanted to go ), and it's looking unlikely they will this time either. just cutting down on tour dates, too strenuous i guess.

What's stopping you coming south (apart from the 800 mile trip)? The last time I saw them Primus supported - that would've been great for you.

If you feel Rush is too old to perform live, listen to Rush in Rio.

i wasn't really old enough to take the journey on my own, or afford it. and my mum wouldn't have let me skip school anyways...

Yeah, but what's stopping you should they tour next year? Birmingham or Manchester would be reasonable from jockland.

i may consider it. i do have a job and a university course to attend to though, so could be hard/irresponsible to go, if it's not in the summer.
