Radio Toolbox for shoutcast <--help me
Alrighty. I want to see stats on my website when I am broadcasting my music and Im using Radio Toolbox. I have uploaded the files, made changes in the config.php(pointed the url for the inludes.php and made username and password.(the same as I have in the radio toolbox options) and pointed the url in the radio toolbox options to www.myurl/catcher.php
Í still cant see any stats anywhere though..where should I find them? I thought it were example.php but that doesnt seem to be correct... when I look at stats in the radio toolbox program it says "script service disabled" but "web service enabled"..something wrong there maybe? or maybe this... "3. In some cases it will be neccessary to make includes.php a World writable file You can do this by CHMOD-ing the file to 777 so that catcher.php can write to it. Otherwise you will experience problems." -how do I do that? please help the n00b

If it says that the script service is disabled that means the url that you entered in the options panel under the tab Script service was incorrect.
Make sure to use the full path including http:// -Jay | Radio Toolbox.com |

Does it have any extra information after Disabled in the Current Stats window? Mouse over disabled for 2 seconds and see if a window pops out telling you more.

The webservice has nothing to do with the script service, they are two completely different features. It would appear that you're catcher is failing, either you do not have php installed on that server or your server is placing extra information at the head of the script.
I am afraid with out a link to your catcher file I cannot be of much further assistance. If you do not have PHP support or want to try another route, try the FTP service tab. -Jay | Radio Toolbox.com |
