Does this mean that you are still workin on wasabi player brennan? (even if it be unpaid now) (Can i still be excited about the future, i loved winamp 3!!)

not to worrie. there will always be new excitement... just not much from nullsoft anymore... a few of the boys from the community are pitching in a bit more now to help keep things going. and last i checked, things are going good. not much news this week, however, considering the holidays.

Who knows how much longer that page will be available. I've also set up a basic Brennan's Wasabi Page, which will stay up
practically forever.

2.nullsoft had stop the development of wasabi, right?

1. no, not anymore.

2. no, Wasabi is still being worked on by Nullsoft because it is the modern skinning engine in Winamp 5.x

nullsoft still works on wasabi, but they had "offered" it to open source community??

i just think that all the nullsoft team should leave nullsoft and create a new team, an independente team.

aol suc*s, they have "censured" the "waste", and "gnutella" projects, from justin.

Brennan and Aus we're layed off because AOL needed to cut their overhead, they're being a burden on TimeWarner, and the companies stock is free faling. So they fired alot of people in California, not only at nullsoft.

Some parts, but not all, of the source code have been released from nullsoft, one of the major thing missing is the skinning system, because it's still being used in winamp5

Some developers are trying to build an opensource player based on wasabi, but it involves quite an amount of programming, so it's going be a while before anything usable will come out of the efforts.

I can say this again and again. I love Brennan. No, I'm not gay. Not that I am against the idea of bieng one, but at the precise moment, I'm not one.
Brennan, if you're reading this, I just wanna say that Winamp3 is the most brilliant piece of programming I've ever seen. I have a somewhat slow computer, so even if I ran MS office with Winamp 2.x my PC would hang up. Sometimes, even while running only Winamp 2.78, my PC's got crashed. But I have never, and I mean never ever had a problem with Winamp3. It is the ultimate player. And you my man are the ultimate programmer. I just wanna say that I am your biggest fan. I know you are a busy man, but if you ever find the time, please mail me at djshaji@msn.com. Once more, I love you!
There's another thing I wanted to ask.
Is Nullsoft owned by AOL?
If it isn't, then what's the relation between Nullsoft and AOL?
