Winamp 5 not making sound

Hey, just installed new winamp 5 and now it won't play the music, it shows as playing but i'm not getting any sound out of my speakers. Windows media player still makes music and winamp 3 was working fine, but winamp 5 won't make any music. How can i fix this? thanks in advance

Hi Savage, I got the same problem : I wanted to try to listen to a gothic Radio station, and I needed to install WA. So I did, but when I try to play music, everthing is looking fine, except that I cannot hear the music, although WA shows normal working. I tried to fix that problem, but after 2 weeks, it still doesn't work.
Help us plzzzzzzzzz!
