b4s Playlist Problem

Hi! Downloaded Winamp 5, uninstalled Winamp 3. All of my playlists are in b4s, didn't know it wasn't supported.
Tried to import them and found that out.
Downloaded Winamp3 and installed it (which no longer is on the Winamp site) and ALL of the playlists are broken. Maybe 3 songs out of 700 play, and I can't isolate why. I was trying to export them as supported files, but when they load, none of them work. The filepaths are correct if I open the playlist in wordpad- it must be something else.

Can anyone help me solve this before I quite using Winamp products? If I can't trust that an "upgrade" will not make my playlists unusable and that there is *no way* to get them back, why should I bother investing any more time in a product I have supported before? Text editing? Some tool to quick format a b4s to m3u? And ideas?
