Playlist probs (sry if in wrong section)

I just installed Winamp5.
I've tried to import the playlist I had from Winamp3, but it does'nt work.

The playlist is saved as a .b4s file, and Winamp5 cannot read this file.

Is there a way I can get the playlist to work ? All the songs are in a list which I have got used to.

winamp 5 doesn't support b4s playlists...if you still have winamp3 you can save the playlist as .m3u and it'll work in 5. remember...winamp3 is a separate product and has nothing to do with winamp 2.9x which is what winamp 5 is mainly based on.

Winamp 5 Media Library Import/Export Plug-in

That will convert all your Winamp3 B4S playlists to M3U format for Winamp 5. And DrO is also working on creating an enhancement whereby there will also be conversion from B4S to PLS format as well.

I see you posted as I was typing my response. As you can see, it's possible with the plugin, even if Winamp3 is no longer present. You probably weren't aware of it

Well, let's give credit where credit is due. It was Francis that came up with the Winamp 5 Media Library Import/Export plugin. DrO is working on one also, for PLS format conversion from B4S as well as M3U. It's not quite ready yet but I can assure you that it will be coming.

Heh, nice animated gif.

Once I re-install Windows (heh, a virus got a hold of my computer, killed my anti-virus and then Windows before I could do much about it. Thank god it wasn't able to touch my Winamp!

) I'm going to have to get some more of his plugins.

But to prevent this topic from getting too off-topic, I'll shut up.
